Our History
1967
The Beginning
ANTISEL was founded by Apostolos Selidis.
The name ANTISEL derives from the abbreviation of the words “Antiprosopeies Selidis”, translating to “Selidis Representatives” in Greek.
1970
Laying the Foundations
The first agreements for exclusive distributorships are signed.
Athens office is established in 1976. Technologies for cell cultures are introduced to the market.
1980
Building Relationships
Ties with customers and suppliers are strengthened.
Introduction of Molecular Biology applications to the market. ANTISEL becomes one of the key distributors of scientific equipment in Greece.
1990
Growth & Expansion
New offices are created throughout Greece.
The product lines of Analytical Measurements and Molecular Diagnostics expands to an ever-growing portfolio. Annual turnover surpasses the 5 million Euros.
2000
New Strategic Partnerships
Establishment of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system along with a prototype CRM (Customer Relations Management) system aiming to enhance work effectiveness in all departments.
Certified with ISO EN 9001:2000 and 13485:2003. Development of new strategic partnerships with leading companies in their respective industries like Zeiss, Gilson and PerkinElmer.
