Focused Shock Waves

Depending on the specific condition and indication of each case, Dolorclast® Focused Shock Waves allows the energy and penetration depth to be adjusted as required. The shape of the head is designed to focus the piezoelectric waves on a specific target, through thousands of small crystals. The shock waves are transmitted beyond the skin and superficial tissues to the desired depth between approximately 5 and 40mm.

Piezoceramic Energy Generation 

High voltage applied to 1000 piezoceramic crystals produces 1000 small waves. These waves are converted into a large shock wave at the center of the focus due to the ellipsoidal alignment of the crystals.
