Treatment of Scoliosis and Spinal Diseases

GraviSpine device allows us to apply innovative treatments to treat scoliosis in children. It can also be applied to adult patients with scoliosis, in order to improve their quality of life as well as to treat upper back and lower back pain. 

Gravispine treatment is perfectly combined with the Schroth method and all known methods of treating scoliosis. 

• The free traction of the trunk due to gravity, which facilitates the lateral correction of rotation and curvature of the spine.
• The patient’s lying supine posture/position combined with the immobilization of the hips and one shoulder in order to stabilize the torso, results in the precise correction of the spine in all 3 levels (frontal, transverse and obelisk) while maintaining the pelvis-spine system stabilized.
• Due to the horizontal position and the stabilization of the pelvis in the 3 levels (frontal, transverse and obelisk), the spine is not pressed on the areas above and below the pathological curvature.
• Automated change of bed tilt angle allows for anti-gravity relief of the spine.
